Do you have a dancer that you think may be unconventional or starting dance later than “normal” kids? Maybe they have never danced, maybe they have different abilities or are extremely shy…we are the perfect dance home for them! Not every dancer is the same, not every dancer has the same skill level and beginners can start at any age.
Indianola Dance Academy has staff that are experienced, kind and able to work with all levels of ability. We take the teaching of your dancer seriously and work hard to continue our own education also. We offer differing skill levels of tap, baton, jazz, ballet, lyrical, hip-hop for ages two and up, if you aren’t sure which class would be best for your dancer, we can help place them in the correct course.
Do you have a dancer that has experience, wants to participate in competition dance, but you feel they need more technical training, extra help with their leaps, tricks, turns and jumps? Then again, you’ve found a great studio. While we have classes, just for skills and technique, our general focus is on building them from the ground up. We ensure their basics are done correctly and then add tricks based on their own ability, flexibility and help them advance in age appropriate tricks in our regular classes, as well.
IDA’s returning and new staff have experience as competition dancers, twirlers and competitive coaches for ages four to high school. Their keen eye for technique and knowledge of competition expectations is a wonderful asset for your dancer.
Indianola Dance Academy brings back your only baton twirling option in Indianola with our talented and determined staff. The wealth of knowledge in baton and patience they bring will lead your twirler in a powerful international sport with correct skills and timing.
