WE’RE BAAAACK

In 2020, Indianola Dance Academy closed. We were in the midst of Covid 19 and how the studio was operating at the time, we couldn’t qualify for assistance to stay open during shut downs.

Closing the doors to IDA was heartbreaking for myself and my daughter…I know many other hearts were broken as well.

Locking up the door the last time took a piece of my soul. Some health issues arose after the closure and three surgeries later…and post high school graduation for my daughter, we are opening our doors back up.

As we finalize details on our location and get some construction underway, there will be opportunities for registration at the Indianola Farmer’s Market (fairgrounds edition). You may also see some posts about registration dates outside of the market.

We will reopening with some amazing returning staff, as well as some fresh faces. Our class offerings will continue to be a range from baton and hip hop to tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical and hopefully, even Pointe. We welcome any dancer who strives to join a competition team or even a performance team. I’d love another trip to Branson with my dancers and some nights at Wild games watching them dance on ice!

We would love to have you come with us on this journey and maybe we will even be able to sneak in a parade performance before our season starts!

Online registration will start on June 8th…with the possibility of two studio rooms…we will have double the availability for your child to dance with our all-star staff. If your dancers have aged out of our program or you are no longer in the area, please help promote our reopening by sharing our story and encouraging your friends and family to check out what we have to offer our community! We can’t wait to dance again!
